WHO IS SHE?

Hey, I am Alonna (Uh-Lon-Na). First and foremost, welcome to my portfolio and thank you for canvasing my work. I am a photographer whose life has revolved around art in different mediums. As a child, I found different ways to express myself. Through dance, writing, drawing, directing and now photography, I am bringing visions and thoughts to life through a lens.

I have obtained my Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Film and Production. During the last two and a half years of my collegiate career, I noticed that I belong behind the scenes of anything that I put my mind to. From directing and producing live newscast for class, that is when I knew that I belonged behind a lens.

I started photography as an assignment for class. My very first shoot was a wedding. "Aim for the stars, shoot for the moon". Since then, I grew a love for photography and seeing various perspectives come to life. Seeing people laugh, smile and being themselves allowed me to understand that pictures lasts a life time, moments are just moments. Who wouldn't want those moments to be captured? As a photographer, I aim to tell a story from my clients and I's perspective.

"ITRM", stands for "In The Raw Moment". I live life in the raw moment and essence it gives. When I capture my clients, I capture the raw essence of life in that moment. I portray that in my body of work. The question of "who is she?", is strong. I am a Black Woman who wants to create the visions that come to me all at once.
